I bought a H/C long block that made 430rwhp with ls6 intake,all the bolt ons, GTP stg 2 heads, and 228/224 cam. I read alot where people with much bigger cams are only making 400-420rwhp. I was thinking of swaping the cam out for a bigger one, but I am wondering if I went to say a X1, g5x3,T-Rex that I may loose power? This is my daily driver, so I will most likely leave the cam alone. The motor will go in with a LSX intake, a TSP lid, true duals. Do you think I will get more power switching from the ls6 intake, SLP lid, and the Hooker catback that were on the car when it was dyno'd?

Im using AS 5.3 heads and a one off cam. Its a rarity in FL to have a 430+ N/A LS1 because of the heat and humidity all year

I dont think youll see much more of a gain IMHO. The LSx is iffy as the power gained has been from nothing to ~15 HP on the larger motors, all lids are basically the same in HP gains, and the true duals will probably give you more area under the curve but maybe not much higher peak numbers.
