LQ9 Carnage pics + rebuild questions!
****LQ4****
Ok so I did some damage to my lower end of my lq4 due to nitrous + rev limiter . So that being said I have a few questions about the rebuild. It looks like it has ARP head studs,
can I reuse the nuts?
also a few of the studs backed out can I just thread them in and reuse them? do they need to be torqued?
Using the same gasket that came off of it this one . Do I need any sealer? Cant find any instrustions
Also for the piston that melted on the wall what would be the best way to remove it? A ball boring tool? emery cloth?
Thanks in advance

You can reuse the ARP studs and nuts. The studs themselves only go in hand tight, the nuts get torqued per ARP instructions.
The best way to fix the cylinder is to take it to the machine shop and have then bore and/or hone the cylinders to the next size that cleans it up. I had a buddy that had the same thing happen and it didn't even clean up at 4.030".

If the hone can't clear that little booger out, you're probably going to need to bore it. Honing that much material off the top half of the cylinder and not cutting the same amount on the lower half is probably not a good idea.
