Default Piston replacement

Hey guys I have a stock shortblock with a bad piston.
Can I replace it with another stock piston without any other thing being done beside's pulling one out and puting a new one back in?

As long as it weights the exact same amount of grams as the previous piston, or you might throw everything out of balance.
