Default valve springs needed for 224/224/112 cam?

what valve springs are needed fror a 224/224/112 cam? or could i get away with stock springs.

Forget about the stock springs.

What's the lift on that cam?

IMHO
up to .570 : I'd go with singles (less mass on the valvetrain)
more than that : Go with duals

If its a TR224, use 918's. They are great springs for the application.

Agreed, you can't go wrong with some Comp 918's for that camshaft. Or if you plan on swapping in a larger cam later on, you could go ahead and throw some Patriot "Gold" series double valve springs in that will hold you up to around .650" lift. Thanks for the suggestions, I have researched the Patriot Springs and what information there is leads me to believe they are of the highest quality, and the valvespring kit they are delivered in is very convenient.
