Default New version of the Dart Block? Next2

Just wondering if anyone has move info on this new version of the dart block?

http://www.dragzine.com/features/pri...land-bearings/

This is pretty much the only article I can find on it. When is the new version being released?

Is this just a provision to the block or like another version?
Is the 1/2" main studs(or will it be bolts?) an option or standard?
I assume this version would take a standard ls crank and would just need to be machine if one wanted to use the Cleveland-sized main bearings.

Any info on this would be great.

Maybe I read it wrong, but it sounded to me like it would be a proprietary crankshaft.

Either way, I'd like to know the release date as well.

What are the physical limitations of the original Next block, based on HP rating?

I would assume the 1/2" main studs being standard. If this block is a step up from the original Dart block, then it's going to hold more power, and if that's the case, then I'd say 1/2" main studs would be standard.

According to the article, the main bearing saddles are wider to accommodate the wider bearings. This would require the special bearings and crank.

Very nice-if you have HP levels that need it. Sounds expensive!

I did find those articles. It looks like a nice piece. Wondering when the actual release date and price will be available.
