Default TR224/224 114 or LPE218/229 113?

Which one of these cams would/should make the most usable HP for the 1/8 and 1/4? I will also be using a 100 shot. Thanks for any info or openion.

I am personally going with the 224/224 w/112 LSA. However, the LPE cam was in Hotrod magazine last month and that person was turning 10.5-sec 1/4 miles with LS6 ported heads, 4400 stall converter and removal of about 600 pounds.

The reason I am going with the 224 is because I have heard of many people that have positive results on both the 112 and 114 LSA.I have only heard the one positive thing about the Lingerfelter cam.

Good Luck,

Al

I love my 224 on a 114, I went with it because I heard good things about it, I like its street manners and it pulls nice up top. Think I may go a bit bigger though with the next cam. SIGONELLA? I was stationed there 94-97. Good luck with the cam install. Have fun on the autostrada!

Yes i already have a TR224 in the car, but i also have the other cam siting at home. I ask because if the LPE would make more power i will swap it in. I like the 224, and i get some goodtimes with it. If the LPE could get me to a 11.99 it would be well worth the swap. Then the point of N2O. Im using the same LPE in my truck and it works great with N2O. Would the Dual pattern cam work as well with spray?

So you know about the Ford Cosworths here. They are AWSOME. Think god they never sold them in the states. Im not stationed here, just on deployment with VP26 out of Brunswick, ME. I'm on my last month.
