Default Valve cover spacers needed?

How do you know if you need valve cover spacers after putting in new rockers? Can you tell when you put the covers back on or is there a horrible noise when you start the engine?

shouldn't......valve cover spaces tend to only be needed with the adjustable shaft mount stuff like T&D and Jessel.

Might have some issues with 98's (Not certain though)

All others should be fine with YT.
If you didn't buy them yet, I would check HS (Harland Sharps)
