Default Highest realistic WHP for Carb/Headers/Cam LQ4?

I know there are lots of threads and stuff out there about HP numbers and such and I've read a ton of them but they all seem pretty varied, but I'm wondering with JUST a carb/intake (~750cfm/dual plane Edelbrock), MSD 6LS controller, headers (likely 1 7/8" LT), and a cam+springs (I'm liking the Comp LSR choices, ~.550-600 lift, no bigger, 918 springs) what kind of power numbers I could see for WHP through a T56 Magnum and a 9" with a Detroit Locker TrueTrac (if that makes any difference) on CA 91 octane?
I've seen everything from under 400 to over 500 and I'm just wondering if those are accurate numbers at the wheels for a stock head, stock compression LQ4?

400 should be not a problem but not 500rwhp. not with stock heads and a smallish cam. compression with a stock LQ4 will be an issue too (too low)

So with that combo I mentioned^ could I see 400+hp at the wheels then?
That's 470+hp at the crank, does that seem reasonable?

I agree, 390-410 is reasonable depending on cam specs. Lift matters much less than duration.

If I were to do the same kind of setup but on an LQ9 longblock, what kind of power/torque would the extra compression be good for? I know it's a little over 1/2 a point more, is it worth trying to find an LQ9 block or no?

Cam choice and head choice is go dictate a lot on the rwhp number....
raising the compression could give you a guestimate of 15-25 horsepower.

This would be stock heads, and a Comp LSR cam (still debating which one)
And really? That's higher than I was even counting on. Would it be possible to get over 500hp at the crank with less than a .600 lift cam? (On an LQ9)

I've actually read that series a couple times now, great stuff
I'd wanted to stick with the stock heads for the lower end torque and such, and to just keep it simple and not have to take the block apart.
This will be the inital LS swap into my 71 Nova and I will push as much power as I can get realistically with some cam and intake/exhaust etc only, use it to get used to the engine setup and dial in the suspension and the like. Then later on I will build the 408 I talked about in my other thread.
So sort of a stage 1 vs stage 2 sort of deal, so I'm just looking for what to expect realistically, I'm not looking for max power yet. Just wondering what all is on the table in the real world (not optimized dyno runs funded by a magazine haha, great stuff like I said, but nothing really goes that smooth for most people)

What would be a good sized carb to run on a cammed 6.0?
I've seen people using 750s to good effect but I am interested in a dual quad setup with two 390s (780cfm total), is the extra 30 cfm going to make any difference one way or another?

Yeah I think I'll try that. Thanks for all the replies, I appreciate it.
