Default AFR heads/G5X-3 the dyno is fixed

The dyno is fixed and the head swap was complete. The car has a stock Z06 engine in a corvette C5. The car had Stock Z06 heads with a thin cometic head gasket and a G5X-3 cam and an oval throttle body (tpis) grafted to the stock LS6 intake manifold.

Nothing changed from the before and after except putting the AFR 205 cylinder heads on. here is the graph.

445rwhp 423rwtq before ..........485rwhp 448rwtq after

Thanks

Lou Gigliotti LGM

I believe that Tony was using the electric water pump and maybe some other differences.

Either way, great numbers and a back to back head swap dyno to quiet the naysayers.

Me wants a set for my car!! I wouldn't mind 450+ rwhp with some AFR's!! The HP never stops, just starts to flatten out at 7000rpm, incredible Lou!!! Wish I had some money right now

Forget the AFR's, 445rwhp 423rwtq on stock ls6 heads with a G5X-3, full belts through mufflers?

I must say a 40rwhp gain over ls6 heads equates to a 50rwhp or so gain over ls1 heads. Very nice, very nice.

Yeah I saw that ****, that Z06 is rocking with the stock heads, but look what cam he has now Doesn't shock me that much, considering I have 70 RWHP more with the X3 than my car made with the stock cam. I need more power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who cares even if they were a ported set of castings the AFR's still made 40 more HP and 23 more ft/lbs of torque

We get 430+ rwhp with our G5X-3 cam only with headers and bolt ons from a Z06.
this car had the intake on it also, and a light flywheel with Mcleod dual disc.

Tony at AFR had a Fast 78mm intake manifold on his car with the 470rwhp that he got. (he got 468 on my dyno, you know the one that reads high)

But at any rate, the heads were the only part changed so the 40 rwhp is legit.

Thanks
Lou G
