Question Quick question about removing drivers side valve cover

I have a 98 and was wondering is there a certian way to remove the air tub/connector from the drivers side valve cover? I tried prying it out with a flat head screwdriver.. but its in there pretty good and I don't want to mess it up. I see a rubber seal in.. should that be coming out with it? HELP PLEASE!

Default

I just ran out to the garage (I've got a '99 pulled apart) to make sure I knew what you are talking about. Without a screwdriver, just using your hands, you should be able to wiggle and pull it out. The seal that is pressed into the cover will stay with the cover, but the tube should pull out.
