Default Torquer V2 or V4

Just got off the phone with TSP. I have a stock 2005 ctsv. I plan to do CAI, boltons, and headers. I may do a fast intake and send them my heads for port work. No track and is daily driven. They said that those two cams would be a good option. He said the V2 would have more driveability. What do you guys think? And if I do the headers and boltons and get a cam, and then I do the heads will that cam still be good with the setup? or should I decided to do the heads or not before I get a cam?

With a good tune either cam will be totally drivable with little difference between the two. With that said you can do heads whenever, but of course it's much easier to do it while doing the cam swap

So if I bought the V2 without doing heads and then in a few months decided to do heads, would the v2 still be a good choice?

For a daily driven CTSV I'd certainly go with the V2 for them two options. The lower lift will be a little easier on the valvetrain and more likely increase longevity. Either the V2 or the V4 will definitely be a good choice for doing head work later on. Another thing, if you're going with the PRC dual valve springs, be sure to go with the .650 dual spring and not the .675 spring. The .650 dual is plenty of spring for that cam and more ideal. Using the .675 spring will work but it'll only lower valvetrain life.

Both camshaft will treat you great! Its a great time to buy with the crazy Black Friday specials running this month!

I personally like the V4 but both feature brand new TSP lobes with reduced valve-train noise & more rpm stability!!

We have both the .650" PRC and .660" PAC springs in stock!

The sale is going on through the end of the month. 11/30 will be the last day of the sale.
