I'm having a dilemma, and yes this is in my reg cab short box 5.3...
What it is now is a 00 2wd with a whipple supercharger 7PSI. Brand new 4l65e with a yank 3000.

Here is the problem, I want to put a cam in the truck but...
1. The whipple is non intercooler, high IAT.
2. The whipple needs to b sent off and have a bearing fixed $800.

Soo should I fix it, buy a cam and get it tuned. And-OR put it on e85 "$900" .

Or go NA and buy a cam and a set of CNC heads and get tuned?????
Sup the guy before had it on a dyno and did 320whp. I would also have to take off the whipple "add on" computer.

What would u do?

Would I lose the cool factor if I went NA?
Could I get 350-400 whp from a NA 5.3?

Fix the blower, add a methanol injection kit, then swap the pulley(s) to raise the boost. If there's money left, then cam it.

Didn't really want to mess with e85 right now.. And didn't know about the IAT temps..
