Default 5.3 cam question.

I have a 5.3 swap in my c10. I have 3.73 4l60e fti 3200 stall 3 in x pipe borla pro xs mufflers. I was looking at 2 comp cams lsr series. I like both. 1st 227/235 .614/.621 113. The 2nd 231/239 .617/.624 113. I like both because of the overlap is under 10 which IMO will give me some good driveability for a small cube motor. I don't plan on driving it everyday but I'm going to put it on the road highways and bi-ways. So guys tell me what you think.

Assuming iron block 9.5 compression and non milled heads. I'd go considerably more conservative
The GT 2-3 cam @ 207/220 works well or if you swap in some 4.8 flat top pistons and mill the heads to get 10.5 then a 222/226 EPS would be a nice piece

Yes it's 9.5 but I don't want to mill the heads for just one point of compression. Plus I'll have to get shorter pushrods and the cost of milling isn't worth the 1 point.
