#1/8 bores oversized ? So...my car has been under "observation" from GM for cold and hot piston slap. Its been getting worse for awhile now so I finally let the dealer tear it down.
They are telling me that my #1 & 8 cylinder bores are oversize and are going to replace those two pistons with replacements that are oversize. This seems like pretty much a bandaid fix to me...any thoughts on this or other ideas of what to do ?
Car has 20k on it.
