So I'm having a lq9 installed with 243 heads. I know I'm installing a cam but not sure what cam to go with to match the 243s and hopefully hit my goal of around 430whp. My car is a 6spd with a ls7 clutch and will be a street car/weekend racer. Any advice is helpful.

I would imagine a simple 228/228 would probably get you there with the Fast 102 and LT headers mentioned in your signature. Martin Smallwood would be the man to call.

430rwhp with 243 heads on a LQ9 will not be a hard number to hit with a 6 speed manual trans.

Here is what I would do for a nice street/weekend car wanting to hit the numbers you're after:
