Internal motor inspection/results. (Pics)
After a few trials and tribulations, I finally have my car back together. I posted in forced induction about the decision to pull my motor out of caution, due to seeing what appeared to be glitter in the oil on two different occasions. Well, on disassembly, I couldn't find any metal in the motor and the bearings looked ok....not great. One thing that I did find was the oil pump o ring was indeed pinched, which is why the oil pressure was never really stellar....enough to pass and keep the crank and rods floated but just barely. After reassembly and getting the car back on the road, I can definitely say this, that little oil pump o ring can cause all types of grief, one that issue I don't see mentioned much is the relationship between it and valvetrain noise. My motor is now stone quiet.....no more lifter noise....no more "sewing machine". Anyways here are some pics for those that are interested.

Good catch. Might be worth the small investment of a oilpump girdle.

Haha, no worries. So I searched around for your build but could not find it. Mind giving some details on the motor? I am in the process of building a procharged 370. My goal is 800hp as well.

Between those injectors and pumps I know you have no fuel problems. What lines are you running? I can only assume a boost reference regulator as well.
Overall though seem to me a modest build with great results. Simple is the best I can think of.

Half inch fuel line, and yes...it's an aeromotive referenced reg. And you are right, simple parts.....no real trick pieces. Down to the air to air cooler.

I had to do a quick search as well because I did not know what it was. However after looking it seems to make a lot of sense.
