Default 317 valves over to 243s?

I have some 317s sitting around that I was hoping I could move the valves over to a set of bare 243s I bought on here. I haven't yet removed the springs from the 317s so haven't gotten a chance to look at the condition of the entire valves yet but from what I can see so far they look to be in good shape. Assuming they are still good, would I be able to use these on the 243s? Or would I be better of getting some new valves instead? I don't want to risk a valve dropping and taking out my engine. I will be putting on a set of dual .660 springs next year on the 243s when I swap cams. I was going to have the heads milled slightly and checked over first and am have them worked over in the future at a later time.

Valve sizes are the same as long as they haven't been upgraded

Thanks. I will be running the z06 valves instead of the 317s now. Will probably just end up sending them off to be ported and have a valve job.

Actually just found this thread: https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...hangeable.html
