The pistons and block are all coated inside, stock rods/crank, forged pistons, balanced, decked, sized, gaskets and assembled for a damned good price.

Between my milled heads and Cometic gaskets, I should be a tick over 11 to 1 CR. I'm looking for 400+ ft/lbs of torque.

A local guy builds SCCA motors ... mostly for imports, but he drives a 35th anniversary SS.

Over the next couple of weeks, I need to get the car cleaned up, drill a hole in the firewall for some cabling and install some instrumentation.

Thanks, Vince ... no, some sort of graphite based coating.

It's supposed to help with heat and oil run off.
