Default Cam bearing line honing

Well I just tore down the engine in my 2001 T/A. After spinning four rod bearings, and metal going all through the engine. I'm not willing to reuse the cam bearings. The thing I've heard is that you have to line gone bothe the mains and the cam bearing. And if so what is the reasoning behind this. I have read that they can be prone to spinning the cam bearings if it's not done.

None of that is not true. The cam tunnel wouldn't need to be honed unless a cam bearing has spun and royally screwed up the bore.
