i believe its a Metric 1/8" NPT Inner Diameter - M12X1.5 Outter Diameter , thats what im using for my mechanical guages, however im not putting them in the stock location, there are some plugs im taking out and installing the senders in.

You can tap a 1/4 NPT hole in the block (the little bolt-on block, not the engine block... you'll see it when you look there) just above the oil filter. I believe that is where the Corvette puts the oil temp (or some other) sensor. Just remove the block (2 bolts), drill the hole all the way thru the casting, and tap it. I have my mechanical oil pressure gague running thru there and a 3/8 NPT plug in the hole where the stock sending goes.

(Edited for clairity)

I plan on running an electric oil temp gauge, and a mechanical oil pressure gauge. I figured I would run the oil pressure off of the block above the filter. Any recommendations on the where to go for oil temp? Can the stock sender be disconnected without any adverse affects?

Can someone answer this question for me. I want to add a oil pressure guage. But all autometer has in their c2 line is electrical. Will it be an acurate reading with a electric guage or will it be the same as whats on the dash?
