Default I have oil leaking after cam install

It looks like it is dropping down on the drivers side header. What would be causing this? Did we not put the valve cover seal back on properly?

I would check the valve cover seals first.

You probably torqued the valve covers too tight.

Like someone else mentioned, what did you torque down the valve covers? Did you replace the rubber gaskets for any reason? I would remove that valve cover and take a look?

Yeah sounds like The valve cover. No big deal. Pull the cover and check to see if the gasket is seated properly in the groove in the cover. Sometimes they like to pop out in random places if off the head for a while.

Yeah, the valve cover seals are hard to get seated. And don't over-torque them either.

Is it dropping on the header at the back or front? Another thing to just check I think would be the pcv valve piece that connects to the back of the valve cover maybe.
