How 2 match ls1 head 2 408 After doing a lot of searching around, I still cannot find anything but "rework the heads". This is my problem here: I have a set of ls1 heads that have the larger valves (2.02, 1.60) and are ported. People have told me that i have to match these heads to the 4.030 bore size, but not sure whats involved by doing this. From my understanding I would have to enlarge the Combustion chambers so that it will be 4.030 acorss the chamber? If this is the case, do I also go behind the vales and widen the area so that the whole chamber is 4.030 around? What about taking a 6.0 gasket and matching the chambers up this way. If anyone has match their heads to the correct bore size, please give me some input, Thanks a bunch!
