Default Boosted 402 with ls3 heads

hi guys

my cousin is building a boosted 402 with 9.8 compression with ls3 stock heads
was wondering.. is it going to be a good idea to use these heads on 4.005 bore? I've heard that the ls3 heads will be more flow friendly and comfortable with bigger bore motors due to valves will be very close to the cylinder walls and cause (valve shrouding) which will affect power pretty bad.
I've heard that affects the NA stuff, how would it be on a boost motor?

Thanks

Since boost is "extra"; head Flow and shrouding isn't as important to making power cuz you're ramming instead of tugging. IMO, a 364 with one to two pounds more boost can equal the 402 inches for power

Default Boosted Engine Port Flow

The MOST successful racing engine of ALL TIMES, to this day, IS the Drake Offy.
This engine could run a 500 mile race (Indy) @ 40 .lbs boost and has NEVER blown a head gasket ! (John Drake RIP)

That head design featured intake port/exhaust port size of almost being equal as where the I/E valve size, also being almost equal.

Thus my choice is more equal I/E port flow on LS "boosted" engines.
I like the High Swirl intake port of LS-1, 2"-2.08"(also less weight) intake then the largest exhaust valve/port as possible.

Why waste money?
