Default G5X3 for A4 114 or 112 LSA?

I'm trying to make the most power out of this cam only car and was wondering which LSA would be better for my stock heads, YTP4200, and 3.73 gear. I know the 114 peaks higher, but wouldn't that be good in my case. I wouldn't mind the smoother idle too? What do you suggest?
Thanks.

Also, are the CC 921s good enough for this cam, any better springs?

You answered the questions yourself>
114 =better iddle with A4 (more intake vaccum)

For springs i would call Lou at LGM. IMO 921's will work and also "Gold Patriots, .650 lift limit"

Since the specs of this cam are mostly only known to him (Others are sworn under penalty of death not to divulge)

if i remember correctly, only a 114 lsa will work w/o flycutting on stock heads.

i may be wrong

i would get the 114 anyway, makes awesome power

Just talked to Jackie @ LG. She recommended the 921s which are expensive, but hey I'll take their word for it. LG ROCKS! I can't wait to get my first 10.xx timeslip.

I got the X3 on the 114 and love it. Did they mention any back order dates or anything for the 921's??

Orange Peel: She said that the kit is ready to ship.

What kind of times are you running on your G5X3? How were the gains with the cam? Is it nice around town?

Cool, I need to call and get the 2 seats that comp shorted me then if they have the kits in now.

As for the times, none yet, I plan to go sometime, it's just so hot right now that it won't be that great, but I will still get a baseline in the heat and see what it does in the cooler weather. The gains are huge with this cam, over my stock cam I gained almost 70 RWHP, and 40 RWTQ. Over my Comp cam setup I gained 30 RWHP and 20 RWTQ with just the cam being the difference.

It's great around town, tons of power and very streetable, it's a blast to drive, I used to hate driving my car, now it's a joy again

My current raceweight(with me driving) is 3225 and that's with chrome ZR1s. I have to mount my Bogarts and drop another 125lb of static weight on top of that. It'll ride, I just need power.

Post some sounds homie! Ha.

Yeah, the car's light as hell. I'm cutting 1.54 60's on chrome Zr1s with a 17" ET Street on boltons. I can't wait to mount my new Bogart D10s with M&H cheater slicks. Should be fun.

John - you're car is sick dude, that's soooooo light, I wish I had that weight in my car, it would SCREAM!!!!! My best EVER 60' in this car before cam, etc was a 1.79 on ET Streets launching at 6000 RPM, now that was fun

So yours is an M6 I assume? Yeah, it's tough to launch those T56s. I just roll a YTP4200 and a 3.73 and snap it.

Yep 6 speed with 4.11's, gotta love it Not too bad once you get a good tire under you, and then just a mad burnout, and BIG RPM dump, boom on your way Sometimes it doesn't work, depending on the track
