Default Where to get 806 heads ported??

I live in western NY, can somebody recommend a shop that can port the heads? Even if i have to ship them to an out of state shop, thats fine. I want a shop that works on ls1 engines a lot.

I appreciate the link but their website is not really professional. Just look at the email info lol it says " Our address is Sales at AdvancedInduction.com (no spaces)" .. Do they not have the @ button on the keyboard. Sorry but there has to be better places to deal with.

Just look at the vendors and pick one, everybody is going to tell you who they have delt
with and tell you they are the best. Don't worry about how pretty there website is, unless
you are wanting a website created. Tons of info on the web, just google it and start reading.
Read articles from professional engine shops and see what they bring to the hot rod world.

Ha Ha, because thats what you want in an Engine performance company,
someone who plays on the computer all day, instead of porting heads.

Any of the site sponsors can do a nice job on those heads. You will get good performance and power numbers out of all of them. Do a few searches and pick the one you like the most.

having a minimal or no web presence is good strategy for cutting the amount of dipshittery you have to deal with.

if you dont have a fancy GUI, you select only the customers willing to actually do their homework.

Well said, I also agree with advanced induction. They have a great rep. If you rate someones quality of work based on their website... maybe you should just port them yourself.

This is funny. I think that if the OP weren't being so closed-minded about the website of a head porter that you guys might actually point out how unfortunate it is to port 806s. If he actually called AI and asked them, they would probably steer him to buy some center-bolt cores for a hundred bucks(and covers for $40) before porting. I guess the guys with the pretty website will be putting $1000 of work into a set of heads that will then have $400 resale value.

Its my money, dont get your panties in a bunch about something that doesnt involve you. I also never said anything about paying anything close to $1000 to port 806 heads. I also never said anything about selling them. Can you read and comprehend?

If they cant put $200 into making their website look somewhat professional then theyre going to and are losing business. They dont care if their customers are well informed about porting heads. Theyre in business to make money, bottom line. Pathetic website= losing money. Do you understand that concept.

If you knew anything about business or how websites work, you would know its about $200 and a few hours of your time to let a pro build or update your website. You dont spend time on it everyday you moron.

There website is garbage because they dont give a **** they are busy with heads and cams. And you dog on others cars? Do you own a 68 camaro with a 408 SBC making 650 at the wheels without squeezing a 400 shot bottle running 9s with two wheels 6 inches off the ground bouncing twice in the first 60 feet? No? Ohhh okay okay. Ya we know nothing about cars here man, some of the people here eat sleep and breathe the **** for the last 20 years or more. If your such an intellectual baddass go port them yourself. Since you can do it better than AI because they have a crappy website.
