Default Need a low RPM cam and advice!

Since I have exhausted most of the cheap mods now I am going bigger! I am looking to get a high performance cam with the power focused in the low end! If anyone is selling one- in good condition- let me know! This way I take take advantage of the torque and my 4.10 gears . Also, I would like to know what you all think would be the best torque converter . I saw an ad for a Vigilante that said it would multiply the torque. Lastly...should I replace the TB & intake beforehand, and what about the lifters? Thanks, guys .

4.10 gears... don't you have a manual transmission? A torque converter is for an A4...

As for cams, if you have 4.10 gears, then you have plenty of low end... a better mate to 4.10s would be a cam that would allow you to shift somewhere around 6500 rpms, which will help to make sure you're not having to shift to 5th in a 1/4 mile run.

I am selling a Comp cam 224/228, .581/.588, 112 lsa cam right now. It made decent power, 379 rwhp and 356 rwtq through stock heads, a 12 bolt and 4.11's, 18" wheels and hot weather. Pulls to 6800-7000 rpm. Might be what you are looking for. I switched to the MUCH bigger G5X3 cam, so I need to sell the old one. $260 shipped, in perfect condition.

Same mods as I currently have, long tubes, LS6 intake, etc. I changed nothing but the cam from the Comp to the G5X3, well of course springs, retainers and seats.

Yep everyday, roughly 50+ miles, car has 84k miles on it right now. It's like driving a stock car on steriods It's well behaved, I don't have bucking or surging while driving, my car is well tuned, and that's all it takes to get a big cam to behave. I can leave from stop lights with almost no throttle, AND I have a McLeod Street Twin. Once you step on that throttle, watch out, this car gets up and moves, if the tires hold up

Honestly, this cam isn't bad at all to drive everyday, people are all freaking out about it, I wasn't sure myself until I drove my friend Mike's car (SS on Your Six) here on the board, and I was shocked, it plain out hauled *** and drove just like my car did with my Comp 224/228 cam in it. So that's all it took and I bought this biotch, and I have never regretted it one bit.

Tell you what I will sell yo my Vig converter for your M6 tranny.
You need to do some more scearching please.
I would suggest nothing smaller then a 224/224 unless you want the gain to feel almost unnoticed.
