Block questions???
Ok I need some major help here Im torn. I have a 5.3l, can i bore that out to make it a 6.0l. 5.3l 3.779*3.622 rod length 6.275 6.0l 4.000*3.622 rod length 6.098. If not then if i get a 6.0block how many rpm can that thing run at safely if the bottom end is built. Im going turbo so im gonna build everything up first. And second will my 5.3heads fit the 6.0

5.3 can not be bored to 6.0 litre.
6.0 block with good forged parts would be safe to 8500 rpm. If you use the stock rod I would limit rpm to 6500. The valvetrain will be your weak link for high rpm durability.
