Default few cam questions

ok first off, im thinkin about gettin a cam. i ahve all the bolt ons, LT's and gonna get an LS6 intake. what would be a good size cam to go with with no heads but something i want to take on the street. i know there are a million different things i could do but from your experience what would be a good range. i wanna get some more mid range power for around town.

also, what should i do along with the cam? injectors? oil pump? timing chain? pushrods? any other recommendations? thanks guys

Check out the cam guide, and after that and reading this thread:

do a couple searches looking for your specific requirements.

with an m6 and tuning you can get anything from stock to trex range to run decent really. The 224 cam mentioned with give you a bit more low end then some of the bigger cams and is still an overall good performing cam for a stock cubic inch car. All the stuff you mentioned is a good idea when doing a cam.
