Default 6.0L motor swap?

if i were to drop a 6.0L crate motor into my 98 6 speed ws6 what all would i need??
would i need a 6.0L computer?

Drop it in, thats all. Tuning wouldnt hurt but it will run without it.

would it be better to stay with a new ls1 crate motor or is the 6.0L better?

They each have pros & cons. What are you planning to do with the car?
6.0 about 100 lbs heavier, also alot stronger in high boost/hp applications.
5.7 lightweight, aluminum cools better.
