Default lifter stuck in block

i resently did an head and cam swap on my 2002 and it wwas running for 3 day then i was driving and heard a very bad knocking sound and i was like oh sh*t

i got the heads off the car and the lifter is stuck in there. only one lifter

it will go down but not come up

i dont want to damage the block any

what do you guys think i sould do

oh and they were brand new comp r lifter

Can u spin the cam to make it come up. If so grab it with a set of vice grips an pull it out.

no it wont come up and i tried the vise grip thing and no good

motor might have to come out i think

man, i hate to tell you this. but this is exactly what happened to my motor. that knocking you heard was the cam being shoved down into the cam bearings. on my car it ruined the cam bearings, cam journals, wore a cam lobe flat, and put metal through the entire motor. my motor ended up completely destroying itself.

i wish i could tell you how to get it out, but it even took the techs at LG a few hours to get the damn thing out and i have no idea how they did it.

i sure wish i know how the hell this happened. btw, i was using stock lifters.
