Default Knock sensor cover

I have been told that it is a good idea to upgrade an LS1 knock sensor cover to an LS6 one. Something about better scavenging. Is this true, is it a good idea? I know the LS6 blocks have better crankcase ventilation.

you mean the ls6 valley cover. its part of the ls6 pcv system, its a good idea to switch over if your having alot of oil conumption. if not, i'd leave it alone.
