Default Good books on engine building?

I've learned quite a bit just reading stuff off the net as far as engine building goes, but I was wondering if there are any really kick *** books that cover a lot of the stuff on pushrod v8 motors.

Anyone have suggestions?

Look on Ebay, there is one titled LS1/LS6 Performance. I bought this manual and love it. Great info in addition to this website.
There is another book due out any day that is rumored to be even better. I will look up the name and post later. Good luck and have fun building. I sure did.

I have the "Chevy LS1/LS6 Performance" book by, Christopher P. Endres

It's a pretty good book.

The new one is...

"How to Build High-Performance Chevy LS1/ LS6 V-8s"
By: Will Handzel
From Cartech Books
Comes out September 2004

I'll be picking this up too
