I've seen a couple of broken Manleys over the last month. Theres no reason to use them over the Comp 918s if you want a single spring. I know one was with an MTI X1 cam.

what type of cam are you planning to run? i had no issues running mine with my old tr230 or T1. its a good spring but low on seat pressure, only 115 @ 1.75 installed height, and 350 open pressure.

i'd just spend the 120 and get the PP gold kit.

You will be fine with the Manely's with 564 lift. Another big factor in spring life and durability is Ramp Rates!!!!! You need to break in the springs properly to get a good long life out of them also.

So far so good with the 1423s on my Hot Cam with 1.8 rockers (.555 lift). Heat cycled them & been racing & dynoing....no unusual noises / performance issues.
