Default Double timing chain NEEDED????

Needed to know if a double timing chain was NEEDED? Im goin to install a tr224 .563 112 lsa cam in my 2001 A4 Camaro SS. Im trying to cut back on spending so much for other parts so that I can get this thing installed and tuned before the end of the month. My plan was to purchase a few things and have them installed while the cam was being installed that way i could just pay once and not have to go back later and get charged again for labor.

needed, no. good to have, yes. at minimum i'd do a JWIS single chain.

it would definitely be a smart move to get one, added insurance, especially spinning up 7 grand with that cam!

Is it needed- ABSOLUTELY!!
I've seen way to many cars personally that skimped on them,now they need new motors because the stock chain didn't last the 6500+shiftpoints.Some people do get away without it though.

No, it's not needed... a quality single chain will be fine..
