Yes defentially get her tuned with HP tuners or LS1edit.
Ed wright is a very smart guy.
He basically has more experience then any 10 local tuners in any area with LS1's.
He does a damn good job for "guessing" when he does mail orders.
There are great tuners everywhere. I have never seen any of his work where the tune was done on a dyno like most tuners use therefore I have no idea what the outcome would be.
If you dont like him no problem, just find someone else.
I am sure there is someone else within a 100 miles or so.
Just make sure you get someone with experience, and someone that either has a very expensive wideband 02 sensor that plugs into his laptop or someone that tunes on a dyno and has a wideband 02.
Most of us use dynojets and that will be the best compairision to everyone else.
I believe you will see 400+ after the tune.
Good luck

Thanks guys for your input my problem with ed wright is only ls1 related. He tuned my lt1 and it dropped half a second at the track but some of my friends here in OKC,OK. have ended up going back several times to get it right. On the other hand my other buddies that drove to wolforth Tx. to TSP never had to go back so I guess what I'm asking is should I drive to DFW to let LG tune it or to Wolforth to TSP

I would think that would be a long way to go to do it like that. I think TSP does a pretty good mail order. I think that is what I'm gonna have to do.
