Hey man check those things I mentioned, valve springs and pushrods on that cylinder. If they look good then do a compression test. If everything still looks good after those 3 things then we'll move on to some more troubleshooting but I can bet ya 99% that one of those 3 things will be your problem.

You are pretty stock so have you tried taking it to a local shop and have them scan it with a Tech2 or equivalent etc... They can tell a lot by looking at it that way it could be the best $50 you spend. Just a suggestion unless I missed something. Good luck!

Hey man how far is Oak Islant NC from Asheville, NC? If you feel like heading out here I'll hook up HPTuners to it and we can see what's going on. What year is your car btw?

Sorry for the delay couldn't get off the phone. I'm around wilmington well basicly in between wilmington and myrtle beach. That would be cool but I think it is to far with the problem I'm having.

I got my ls6 fuel rails in today along with the 28.8# injectors attached, and I am thrilled to say that this cured my problem. What a great deal I got as well,
all for only 60.00, thank you texas speed. Also thank you all for yalls help and advice. I figured I would let everyone no that this cured my misfire problem on # 6 cylinder. I had tried everything elese that had to do w/that cylinder even ohmed the injector and it was not broken down just clogged I guess. There were a lot of people at the begining of this month having the same syptoms I had so I hope this helps yall. ON THE ROAD AGAIN!!!!

All I can say is you need to hook it up to some scanning software, be it HPTuners, Autotap, or a Tech II to really see what's going on. Sorry bud.

The dealerships have a Tech 2, and you can also go to Carolina Auto Masters, they have tuning and scanning software but they are about 2-3 hours away from you.

What do you hope to learn from HPTuner? I have it and will be driving through Asheville Thursday late or Friday headed back from Atlanta...

There's quite a bit in Asheville actually, a lot of rice but there are a few fast cars and a few semi fast cars.
