Default Can you mix match head with different casting numbers?

I have a set of 5.3L heads and 1 says 702 or 706 cant remember and the other says 862, these heads are getting a port job and will match in that aspect but the casting numbers will be different, any problems with that?
thanks

I don't know about the 5.3's but the 5.7 castings have different flow rates, so i wouldn't do it.

I if they truly are the same I don't see any problems but I personally wouldn't do it......how did you manage to have different year/casting types?
