What do you think about my new cam? just picked up a comp cams XER 228/234 .598/.599 112+2... now time for some Patriot dual springs(which were ordered yesterday), an install by my friend and I, and a tune from Robinson!!!
Should have it in and tuned by this or next weekend. I cant wait

In the back of a Firebird/TA in between the tail lights, theres that red bird that says Trans Am or Firebird. It ends up all fadded, they all do. So I sanded it off and compounded it back to shine right... Now its just all black instead of black with that little bird and writing thats all fadded.

I ran that cam for over a year in my car and loved, I believe that it is a XER 228/234 588/598 112+2 (Those are the Xer Lobes), I got my cam from Chris also. I never got a chance to race my car but a buddy raced his with the same cam, stock heads and a PT4000 Convertor and he was running 7.1's with it.
I dynoed 360 rwhp with that cam, ls1 Intake, stock 241 heads, 28" slicks, Ford 9", TCI 3500 Stall Unlocked, and an Airfuel for 10.5 (it was pig rich). I thought it was pretty good I only dynoed 281 stock.
