check out my new darton block!!!! 
here is another angle.....

this thing is better than i thought it was the walls on the sleaves are twice as thick as the old dry ones i have seen.....

U LUZ,
I will take some more pics when the block is out of the hone and send them to you! Sunnen came by and fixed our switch so we are honing again now full power! When the heads are here this thing should be very interesting.

im going to come by next week and take some pics with my new camera the old camera i had was a piece of junk ........as you can tell .......

Better pic I have lots of photos of the MID sleeved blocks so I figured I would attach one that is in focus for you. I worked with Darton on the sleeve design which is patent pending.
The MID sleeve has almost four times the wall thickness in the body area as the dry liners. The current sleeves will go safely to 4.155". If I can get Cometic to make a 4.200" gasket we will come out with a 4.200" capable sleeve.

contact horsepowerengineering and talk to Eric or Chuck[in my sig] they will hook you up....if you already have a block its a big plus because i think its about 800-900 dollars for a core block if you dont have one.....these blocks are 100 times better than the old style...i would never have went with a sleeved block before i found out about this one there were to many issues with the old ones .....every one i have ever seen leaked water at some time in its life.....

I know that I had read somewhere that it is suggested that people use the blocks from 97-00 (without the bay to bay breathing ala LS6) are you of this opion also? Has there actually been any failures linked to the LS6 style blocks?

ULUZ, how much did you pay? I have my own block, a 98. I dont really want to call the company since right now I am just trying to figure out some sort of budget and dont want to waste their time.
