I have a .581" lift and my push rods are stock length. I think you will be fine with stock as long as your heads haven't been milled.

Possibly. Anyone utilize a friend's pushrod length checker to see what is optimal for aftermarket cam install?

No such thing as optimal, there will be a variation on every rod. That is why adjustable rockers come in play with preload, and therefore less valvetrain noise.

I'm sorry I meant with stock rockers after aftermarket cam, lets say Comp. Would the checker come out with the same length every time with this combo?

Depends how much they were milled. Keep in mind aftermarket cams have a smaller base circle than a stock LS1 cam.
