Stock Pulley
I noticed that my stock crank pulley is pretty rusty-looking, around the outside, but not where the belts go on. Should I still use it or replace it? I don't want to install an underdrive pulley, just stay stock there, but do you think the the one I took off will be okay to reuse? If not, any idea what the part number is for the stock crank pulley?
Thanks!
Thanks!

They all do that, AFAIK... It's fine, and won't hurt anything. I wouldn't replace it unless you're wanting an aftermarket balancer/underdrive pulley (and you said you didn't).

Thankyou kindly sir!
I wasn't sure if mine had rusted more than usual, but it's comforting to hear they all rust like that. None of my other pulleys were rusted at all, so that kind of threw me. I guess its proximity, closer to the road, must account for the rust.
Anyway, thanks again, and I'm gonna slap the original pulley back on.

Thanks PZ, I got a new bolt with the gasket kit.
Great idea mikey! Wire brush off the rust, and seal it up with a fresh coat of black paint, maybe it won't be so quick to rust again.
While I'm taking a little break, after getting the cam installed, it's pretty cool having a chance to clean up the engine and engine compartment. When I took out the radiator, I was amazed how stuff got sucked up from the FTRA, mostly leaves though, but tons of road sand, and even a disposable cleaning towel. Most of it lodged inside the cross support that holds up the radiator.
Wire brush and black paint, my next little project.
Did anyone ever say what a cool hobby these cars are.
