T-Rex Cam help
Well i got a new 346Ci Short block with Zero miles on it. I wana do the T-Rex cam but have a few questions. The car is not a dialy drive
1 What stall Converter will i need
2 What is its power band
3 What should it run with stock heads
4 what should it run with a good set of heads
5 will the valves clear the pistons witht his cam and a set of 5.3 heads

1) At LEAST a 4,000 RPM Converter. A 4,400 would probably be better.
2) This I'm not exactly sure on, because I've had no experience with the cam, but it's definately up there.
3) What should it make on a dyno or what should it run at the track?
4) The cam won't clear most ported heads.

1. Werd, 4000 is the BARE MINIMUM. 4400 recommended.
2. 3500-6700 as per TR's website. 3500-7200 as per user feedback.
3. Designed to FIT stock heads.
4. Should flow well if you can get some heads ported that will fit with the bigger valves with this cam. Can't mill at all. Good luck.
5. Won't fit milled heads. Piston to valve clearance is paper thin close on stock heads already.
