Default Check out my setup and tell me what you think

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm not sure if this is the right spot to post this but I just wanted to see what you guys think.
2002 A4 Trans Am WS6
My mods:
TSP lid and k&n filter
FLP long tubes w/ half way gutted cats
Corsa exhaust
QTP electric cutout
Dremeled down my bump stop
Removed my baffles in the ram air hood
Removed front sway bar
A few other small weight reductions
BMR SFC's
BMR STB
Spohne(spelling?) chrome molly adjustable LCA's
Spohne chrome molly adjustable PHR
Hal QA1 adjustable front shocks
BFG drag radials
B&M 24,000 trans cooler
Autometer trans temp, water temp and air fuel ratio gauges
Yank SS3800 torque converter(not installed yet)
LS1speed basic tune after converter install

Tell me what you think of this set up. If you have any suggestions I'm open for ideas. I plan to get a cam within a year but could use some opinions on what would work good with my setup. I would like to make 400 rwhp. Is this possible with the addition of a cam? I plan to take it to the track after the converter install. Any ideas on what I might run and about how much hp I might have?
Thanks in advance for any opinions or suggestions,
Lou

cam only you'll need a pretty sizable cam to hit 400rwhp. the thing about a4's though is you dont need massive amounts power to go fast. looks like your already on the right track with the stall, suspension and weight reduction.

Thanks jrp,
I don't post often but I read a lot. I've read a lot of your posts and you have a lot of really good information. I see what your saying about not needing the big hp to go fast. Going fast is all I really care about. I'm not big on braging about numbers, its just 400 seems like a nice and even number. My main goal is to break into the 11's. Do you think its possible to get low 12's once I have my converter in? Because if it is I think I could achieve my goal with the addition of a medium siz cam. The sad thing is by the time I'm in the 11's my new goal will be 10's. Does it addiction ever stop?

you should be able to get 11's with your setup with any relative medium cam (225-232) duration. lynda (camaro cain) went mid 11's with a setup simlar to yours (she had a bigger stall) on stock internals. she went 10's with the addition of a PP 5.3 and tsp 231/237 h/c combo. Wilwaxu was the same way except he did 10's with an MTI 2e and X1 (230/227) h/c combo. and to let you know lynda is only making 409rwhp if i remember right.

I would look into a steeper gear i.e. 3.73, 4.10 if you don't have some already, and some more weight reduction (if you're willing to do more) would be beneficial.

I have 3.23 gears. How much would swaping to 3.73 help me? And dosen't gearing change the stall a bit on a converter? Would I stall higher or lower if I changed to larger gears?
