Default Stiffer Coil Spings With Iron Block

It seems you would need stiffer front coil springs going to an iron block. Does any body have any suggestions. Maybe SLP's stiffer OEM replacement so my headers will not scape?

I have a 408 iron block with the stock LS1 springs and am having no issues. Why do you think you would need stiffer springs??

I have a 6.0L iron block - no issues - no stiffer springs are needed.

Does the front set lower with the iron block? How much lower? I think it weighs 100lbs more.
