Default Support bits for a GrandAM Cam

Well.. im going the whole hog on my project and fitting the Grand AM cam from GM Motorsport..

Im thinking 918 springs, titanium retainers.. but what else would be needed.. i know its got a fair bit of lift.. so for valve clearance/so it doesnt hit the piston... whats required? and im guessing i'll need forged internals to handle the higher rpm's too

Judging by the specs I've seen it's definitely a high RPM cam, do you think the 918's will be durable enough for any length of time? Ya might think about double springs <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

We are building an engine for a World Challenge customer as we speak, with that cam 239/251 .570 lift.

we should have dyno numbers next week sometime.

Call me and I will let you know what we did to make it work.

thanks
