Smile Eagle's 4.125 stroke out yet

Im building a FI motor and Im using a 6.0 block and going with a 4.030 bore. With the combo that we are putting together it should make around 800rwhp. I was wondering if the Eagle crank was up for the job. Do any off you all know if the 4.125 crank is out for sale? Thanks for your time and info.

Just curious. What compression and heads do you plan on using?

I talked to someone at eagle and they explain that they had too many clearance problems with the 4.125 crank. Maybe someone else might have one that is reasonable like Eagle?

I'm in the process of building a simular combo: Lunati 4.125 crank 4.030 Cast iron Block, C5R Heads - 44cc Chambers , Lunati Rods. Comp 15:1

Check Callies,Scat, Crower,as they are all making LS1 cranks,in various strokes to 4.25, also connecting rods.Haven"t been able to found out much on the Crower stuff yet but it should be very good quality.Scat cranks are high priced, like $1900.00.I think its awful what these LS1 cranks cost as you can get a killer sbc crank for about $1000.00 or less!!!!Hopefully the price will come down.

Eagle will not be making a 4.125. They are making a 4.100. Also they have rotating assembies available that have JE pistons. Most places will be selling the assemblies for around $2200 .

Spoke with Callies yesterday,
they can and will custom grind a 4.125 stroke for you, but not going to grind any for about 6-8 weeks. The 4.125 crank doesn't pose any clearance problems with the 6.0 iron block, but running the 6.1 rod, puts the wrist pin in the oil ring i believe...most people i have heard of that built this enging agree that the 4.00 stroke rod is a better choice. (me too) city driving usually burns around 1 quart every 300-400 miles. not good for a street machine, but fine for a strip mover.
if you need anything else

IMO, the Eagle stuff will hold anything up to around 750hp at the crank properly installed.

Give us a call. We sell both brands, Callies & Eagle. We can get you set up and on your way. Callies will make any stroke you want, you just might have to wait for them to grind it. Let us know if we could be of any help, Thanks
