Default Which heads to port. LS1, LS6, 6.0...

I know an independent head porter and have a limited budget so AFRs are out of the question for a while. I want to go N/A. Which heads should I go with. From research, the 6.0s flow like the LS6s but have larger chambers so are better for FI. Why does it seem like everyone is going to 5.3s? I would think they have smaller ports and runners and valves. What is wrong with LS1 heads that people go with the 5.3s? Price doesn't seem to be a factor.
TIA

I think the reason people go with 5.3's is because of the 59cc chambers that allow you to get a jump in compression without milling and worrying about piston to valve clearance.

Get some 241 ls1 heads and port them.you can put 2.02 and 1.6 valves in them without changing seats.
