Supposedly Vararam in Houston has an new intake manifold that Cartek is testing for them. The removal of the ported LS6 manifold and change to the new intake resulted in a car going from 430RWHP to 470RWHP.

Cartek is also supposed to be working on a new intake of some sort. Anyhow, it may all turn out to be the usual hype, but I though I would share the info...

Guess we shall see if this is true, or just a bunch of hype. If its true then the LS1 world will change a lot. new cams are going to be tried to work with the intake. Hopefully it will match the flow of the heads... or maybe more. Or it could suck the big one....

I don't think internally stock engines stand to gain much with a better intake than the LS6 intake.
