Alright...... the shop that is building my motor ordered me a new SLP ported oil pump. Engine is already together and i've been reading on here about the problems with that dang o-ring. I asked them if they put a new one on and they looked at me funny and said I dunno. So my question is.... Has anyone here bought the SLP oil pump and if so did it come with a new o-ring. If it did then i'm sure they put it in. But if not i need to get one and put it on before i get the motor back in the car. Or if the old one was installed back correctly does it really matter? I new i should have built the damn thing myself!!

Wow this is exactly why me and my friends do my own work. Surely they replaced it, but who knows? Especially if they dont. If that was mine i would be pissed

unless it is pinched it should be fine.

i reused my on my install and my oil pressure is fine. just make sure it isnt pinched or torn or anything and youll be ok.

O ring has to be bought separately. Piece of advice get 2.
