Default Flycutting Question

This is a question for a friend.

He has a 238/242 605/610 on 113+4 cam with LS6 P&P heads with Ferra(sp) 2.02 and 1.6 valves. We are going to have to cut the stock pistons 70 thousandths on the exhaust side and 85-90 thousandths on the intake side to clear. He will be running a 150 shot most of the time with a 175 shot for backup if he needs to pop it in.

From what I have read the exhaust side is ok to cut but we are pushing the intake side. I did a search on this and some have said it will be ok others said no more then 70 thousandths if spraying. Just need some advice.

TIA
